By maintaining uniform water levels, protecting vital habitats, monitoring state and local restocking fish populations, and advocating for the shared interests of our members, we aim to foster a balanced and thriving environment.
Goals:
Environmental Protection:
Implement strategies to prevent pollution and ensure the long-term quality of Eagle Lake’s waters.
Prevent infestations of invasive species and work to eradicate existing non-native species
Safeguard critical habitats, including loon nesting areas and spawning beds, to support native wildlife and biodiversity.
Sustainable Fisheries Management:
Partner with state and local hatcheries to maintain a healthy and sustainable fish population through regular restocking initiatives.
Lake Level Regulation:
Monitor and manage lake levels to ensure a balance between ecological health and community needs by keeping the level as close to the historic natural level (zero level) as possible.
Community Engagement:
Protect the shared interests and properties of members by fostering a collaborative and informed community.
Provide opportunities for members to contribute to the lake’s preservation and improvement.
Adaptive Growth:
Continuously evaluate and adapt objectives to address emerging challenges and opportunities that align with the mission and values of the organization.
